Supporting people through the final chapter of life is both my calling and my family legacy. I bring both lived experience and practical knowledge, offering calm, compassionate support - so individuals and families feel informed, supported and less alone.
My great-great-grandfather established an independent funeral company in the late 1800s, and care of the dying has been passed down through generations of my family.
Growing up, conversations about death and grief were part of everyday life, I learned that death is not something to fear - it’s a time that deserves honesty, dignity, and compassion.
Professionally, I spent 25 years working in Human Resources before experiencing profound personal loss between 2021 and 2022. Having six family members and friends pass away within 12 months became a turning point, leading me back to the funeral industry in a hands-on role supporting families through grief and transition.
My path was further shaped by caring for my father during his seven-year journey with Parkinson’s disease, giving me deep insight into long-term illness and the realities families face at end of life.
These experiences naturally led me to become an End of Life Specialist.
I am trained as an End of Life Doula with Preparing the Way, a member of Holistic End of Life and Death Care Australia Association (HELD), and hold a Diploma in Counselling Skills, along with all required checks and insurance.
Whether you’re facing the loss of a loved one or navigating end of life, I’m here to help guide you through this challenging journey with empathy and respect.
